Description

    This performer
    Sprints in a seated position and demonstrates a pattering type of stride pattern and associated arm action
    Low hip position
    Low knee lift
    Flat feet
    Prevents full rear leg extension and results in a incomplete stride length

Coaching Points

    These faults can be caused by a poor hip flexibility
    Poor strength in the arches of the feet
    And weak quadriceps muscles
    Where as the expert performer demonstrates full extension of the whole of the driving leg to achieve an optimal stride length
